Ahsan ul Haq is the owner and editor of Remodel Cost Hub, the US home-remodeling cost site behind the guides and calculators on these pages. He runs the site end to end: choosing which projects to cover, compiling the figures behind every guide, and editing each page before it is published.
What he does on this site
Every cost range here is compiled from published sources rather than invented or copied. Ahsan's work on each guide is the compilation itself: collecting the published cost data for a project, checking that the sources are describing the same scope before their figures are compared, synthesizing the range where at least three sources broadly agree, and writing the scope tiers, breakdowns and worked examples that show how the range is built. Corrections policy
Cost data goes stale, and readers with real contractor quotes are the best early warning. If a range on this site no longer matches what contractors in your area are charging, send the project, city, scope and quoted totals via the Contact page. Submissions are reviewed by Ahsan personally; where the evidence supports it, the guide is updated and its "last updated" date and sources are changed with it — corrections are never made silently.
What he is not
Ahsan is a publisher and editor, not a contractor: Remodel Cost Hub does not perform, arrange or supervise construction work, does not sell quotes or leads, and does not list or recommend contractors. The site's figures are planning estimates to budget and test quotes against — for a price on your project, get written quotes from licensed local contractors.
